Extension

To meet the growing demand, the existing science laboratory of the Joliet Junior College had to be expanded. The new building includes 14 new laboratories; the existing rooms were renovated. The architects of Demonica Kemper used öko skin slats in liquid black for the facade. A light-flooded, two-story atrium serves as an extension of the corridor to the building and promotes interaction between students and faculty. Photos: Ditz Fejer
